Nikki Okrah is the Founder and CEO of Chaku Foods, a company that is building farmer centric value chains for a climate resilient future. By developing a ground-breaking AI/ML based tech platform to source directly from African farmers, Chaku Foods makes snacks that are better for you, the environment and farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to Chaku Foods, Nikki worked globally for Visa Inc across 4 continents based in San Francisco, Johannesburg & Dubai. She experienced how impactful VisaNet, a payment technology system has been in facilitating commerce that creates wealth and impact for business, government & people around the world. Similarly Chaku Foods is creating a technology system that will create wealth for African farmers, and build better global food systems. She also interned at Google as an undergraduate. Nikki studied at Northwestern University (B.A.) and Harvard University (M.B.A).
