Maurizio Caio

Maurizio Caio is the Founder and Managing Partner of TLcom Capital in Nairobi. Current board positions include Twiga Foods, Shara, Pula, Illa and Cuebiq. He co-chairs the Venture Capital Council at AVCA. 

Prior to TLcom, Maurizio was a Director of Bain & Company, leading the firm’s EMEA Technology practice, and an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company. 

Maurizio holds a Stanford MBA and a Summa-cum-Laude degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. He teaches Business Strategy for Investors and Entrepreneurs at the Nigeria University of Technology and Management in Lagos. He designed and run the inaugural Venture Capital course at Ashesi University in Ghana.
