Born Ndivhuwo Elaine Mukheli in Pretoria, South Africa, Elaine, a 23-year-old R&B Singer breaking continental boundaries by giving R&B a fresh face.

While studying in law school, Elaine had the urge to create her first project that later shaped into the now-Platinum - Elements. Self-released in September 2019, the 7-song certified-platinum collection blends mellow yet sweet R&B melodies with hints of trap-inspired moodiness and catapulted Elaine to becoming the first independent female artist to ever reach #1 on the Apple Music Sub-Saharan African charts.,

Following the success of her debut EP, Elaine signed a record deal with Columbia Records and moved to Los Angeles, California. Her new single “Deja Vu”follows the release of her dreamy single “Shine” and the sleek banger “Right Now,” which received coverage from NYT, UPROXX, HYPEBEAST, Teen Vogue and more.
